The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Charlotte supports the holistic well-being and academic success of students by providing clinical services, educational outreach programs, case management, and professional training. We serve as a welcoming, affirming, and accessible campus resource to support students’ well-being.

The Division of Student Affairs is the 3rd largest of 9 divisions at UNC Charlotte with over 500 employees and 20 departments. Doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology or a closely related field from an APA-approved (or equivalent) Psychology program. Two (2) or more years experience in the evaluation and treatment of individuals whose age and psychological development is similar to traditional and non-traditional college students.
Full independent licensure within the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Psychologist (LP).
