ABOUT CLARKSON UNIVERSITY

Clarkson is a private University with a strong STEM focus.  We have both undergraduate and graduate programs.  We are located north of the Adirondack Park in rural St. Lawrence County, with 3 other Universities in the nearby area.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a master degree in mental health counseling related field, or PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology
• Licensed or license eligible in the state of New York to practice mental health counseling

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• certification or significant training, and experience treating, trauma, eating disorders, and/or neurodiverse populations (ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, etc)
• experience and/or significant training serving BIPOC, AAPI, and/or the LGBTQ+ communities  
• experience and/or significant training providing substance disorder treatment

COMPENSATION

Starting salary is $52,000/year (11-month position) with adjustment for experience.
